My field of research is machining: cutting, grinding and electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes. The emphasis in the research program is on science-based innovation.
I teach two undergraduate courses: MECH ENG 2P4 Statics and Mechanics of Materials (Fall), and MECH ENG 4D3 Metal Removal (Winter), the course material of which can be accessed by registered students through Avenue to Learn. I also teach a graduate course on Machining during the Winter Term.
